ok so i guess if little scott posted, that means it's time for me to post something again :P jk mer :)
so first of all, i apparently has a back spasm...i went to the dr on monday and they gave me some anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxers :) iiiiiiiiits awesome! lol jk it kinda sucks cuz they make me reeeeeeeaaalllly sleepy...especially at work...where all i do is sit in front of the computer all day doing CAD. that's about all going on here...except for the fact that i feel like the biggest doofus working for these people because i know nothing about lighting...nothing! i realized that like...last week or so...:P anyway other than that its not bad..and the commute is stupid, meredith, i dont like it :P haha but its whatevs...um i guess thats about it here...i wish i had something interesting to tell you guys but i dont..i'm kinda in the same boat as mer, not a lot going on...:/ but thats ok, at least im not dead on the side of the road somewhere right? :P and on that note....

My life is boring

Well after multiple text messages, I have decided it is time to update you all on my thrilling life. Work is good. It is a very small office (3 women, 4 men) all of which are very nice. There is the cutest little gay Chinese man that works there. I have already learned that if I want to know anything about anyone I stay and eat lunch with him while everyone else goes out. He loves to gossip, it's great. I haven't done anything out of the ordinary at work. Nothing embarrassing so far so that is all I can ask for. I'm sure Lynette you are loving the commute as much as I am.

Anyways. I have just been going to the lake with my boy friend on the weekends.

Well this was probably the most boring update ever. I will either make up a story for the next one or we should all really hope I get a life.

So I live in Austin

I got here last night! My roommate is from Pennsylvania and wants to know EVERYTHING about Texas culture. My housemate, Jane, is from South Africa and is probably the kookiest person I've ever met. She has a dreadlock. Yeah, just one. My two other housemates won't be back for a week. So if you're keeping track, that's five girls.... in two bedrooms....with one bathroom. Oh, and a stray cat named Jemima.

Yesterday we went to cool local coffee shop (duh) and tonight we're going to Barton Springs to have a picnic and watch Shakespeare in the Park.

I start work on Tuesday. And btw my firm starts work at 7am every day. Is that normal?!?!?!?

i like how everyone said they were gonna post on this thing and a few of you have yet to do anything...*evil eye* you know who i'm talking about... meredith and did anyone else notice sean's name as well? Sean F. Zurko...i love it!! :D ok well should i talk about how it's going so far?? well its my third day and all i've really been doing is picking up red lines on CAD...tonnnnnns of CAD, so it's not too bad. they all sit in here on their computers doing their CAD work as they listen to their ipods..so nothing unusual...except its soooo quiet...i dunno if they're crazy enough for me...there is this one lady..i just found out her name a few minutes ago..it's Laura..lol anyway she seems like she would be the one person who if i could just make her act like her normal self, not all professional and what not, we could be pals. and yes everyone, she is black. :) haha i know you were thinking it i DID go to south hills :P but anyway, i still have some figuring out to do with all these people, they all seem really nice...almost tooooo nice :/ ..although..there is one lady not here this week and i've been using her computer and from what i hear she's kinda anal and might kill me when she comes back and finds out i've been sitting here..in her chair...using her weird mouse...seriously!! it's this crazy weird shape...probably ergonomic...but i dont like it..
anyway peeps...thats it! i'll let y'all know how my new friendship with Laura blossoms! :D
